Has anyone had any expirence with this knife. It is listed on several web sites, but not on Gerber's home site. Seems no one has specs on blade steel, thickness, or grind.
Any help appreciated.

Hey A.G..
Looks like one of us is going to have to buy one and write a review!
The Gerber site doesn't have an e.mail addy that I can find, and all i got from one distributor was a wise a$$ed answer about the grind being obvious, and the steel not listed.

I am going to get one of these. An inexpensive knife probably made in Taiwan - 420 grade steel - looks hollow ground. I do wonder about the thickness, 5/32" maybe. Nothing special but I really like the looks of this knife and I really like the size. Similar blade size as the Fallkniven S1 but with a more substantial handle - my biggest gripe with the S1. Perhaps if it is popular we will see a model with higher end steel.

I agree, but sort of get the idea it may be AUS8A steel. Gerber has a couple made of this. 5/32 would be "sweet" for thickness, the jury is out aboutthe grind. Maqybe Santa will see fit to...well, you know
