After meeting Rick Hinderer a few times now I picked up one of the rescue knives that he designed for Gerber and finally got around to doing a video on it. All of the features in it were inspired by his work as an EMT.

Really appreciate your review on this rescue knife.
Probably the only Hinderer designed blade that i could afford other than the Kershaw Cyro.

I really dig the tip- Don't underestimate the round off, the Glock 78/81 has similar one and it can stab like a champ without sticking into bone.
Wouldn't use this to pry though; the tip plus the hollow grind just not made for it but if in emergency then what the hell.

What a great thought-out blade. Thanks for the review.

Thanks. Yea, I'm sure with a little effort that tip would be very uncomfortable for someone on the receiving end.

Thanks for the review. Considering the interest in anything Hinderer, there has been relatively little customer feedback on this product.

Does anyone have experience with the Gerber Torch I?
