Gerber Hinderer vs. Benchmade Triage 917?

They seem fairly equivalent knives, both using S30V, but the Gerber is about 1/3 the price of the Benchmade. The Benchmade has a bit smoother action, but I'm sure that could be adjusted. I couldn't say how they'd stack up in testing, but I'd expect the Gerber to slightly take the back seat.
 
Yeah that Gerber is 440a and Tawainese made which is better than their Chinese offerings.

That benchmade though is light years ahead in pretty much everything material wise.

And to add both of those are extremely overpriced in my opinion, you're better off with a multi-tool if you needed more options than just a blade but that's just my opinion.
