Gerber International Michael Walker

Has anyone seen or read a review about this new large folder? It has G-10 scales, ATS-34 4" blade, double locks...very rugged looking.

Has anyone out there purchased one and used it or has opinions they like to share about this particular Gerber model?

I can only comment on the first one I looked at. It was brand new ITB, overall it is very nice. The thing that concerned me was the liner lock went all the way across the blade and hit on the far liner..

Not good!
I didnt have time to look at others but I will compare some more tomorrow and respond back here by the weekend.

It hasn't been terribly popular. I suspect the reason is that it is heavy. When one buys a tactical knife at this price level, one expects a knife with high tech materials and design that will weigh less. Other than being heavy, it's a nice product. Take care.
