I have had this knife for many years, and it's a funny story how I came about it. but I can share that another time. I'm more wondering if anyone could help me with some information on the knife, not necessarily the value because I don't plan on selling it, but any info or thoughts from some of you experts would be greatly appreciated. I know very little about it, basically what you see in the photos is all I know about it.

Gerber Cliplock Rivermaster, made in Italy or the US for them late 80's - mid 90's, based on a Blackie Collins design. Steel is 440a, 425m, and I think early ones were 440c. They came in double edged or semi serrated single edged.

I seems to me that the US made ones were marked "Portland Or." and had a very different grind than the ones
made in Italy which were marked "Italy".
