Gerber knife identification

The knife is a Pk-2. I paid $21 for one new in the box at the Ohio Gun Collectors show in the mid to late 80's. This was a discounted price at that time. I think the knives retailed for in the $40 range. The following is from a Gerber brochure:
440-C blade, double wedge ground, 0.100 inches thick, 3" long blade
tropical hardwood inlays

I don't think these knives are hot right now, like some other Gerbers so you may be able to get it very reasonable (like under $30). Then again maybe not, you never know with items on e-bay.

I like mine. It is a well made knife and the liner lock works well. It is not a one hand opener though.

Many thanks chemist. That's exactly the info I was looking for.

The combination of stainless steel and wood handle, with a 440C blade is a superb one. I don't know why I thought this model had the name "Sportsman" in there somewhere.

Thanks again!
