I think the Gerber LMF II is one of Gerbers best new dsigns in a long time. As far as I can tell its original unlike the EVO and has some unique and desirable features. Such as the V sharpener built into the sheath, the electrically insulated handle and the unique buttcap. It is reasonably priced and made of decent steel.
With that being said I hate serrations on such a short knife (or any knife for that matter) and would love to see Gerber offer this knife with the option of a plain edge. I really think it would sell.
If any of you guys feel the same way maybe you could drop Gerber an e-mail to let them know you would like to see a plain edge LMF II as well. I've e-mailed them several times and they've responded syaing maybe but no dice.
