Gerber LMF knife steel

Could anyone tell me what kind of knife steel, my 80's model Gerber LMF was made with? And are there any threads on these knives, anywhere? Thanks.

These days they mainly use 7cr17mov on their budget knives, 420HC on their midrange, and CPM-S30V or 154CM on their higher end lines.
