Hey everyone. This knife has really caught my eye, but I really don't know what to think about it.

I like the looks of it, the stag, I LOVE THE BOLSTERS, the shape, and the fact that the main blade locks is really cool, and the price is cheap. I know it is made in china, but does anyone actually have any input or experience with it?

Any input at all will be appreciated!

Idunno. I haven't bought much Gerber stuff lately, but that is interesting. The blade grinds remind me of the grinds on the China made Bucks. I'm not that wild about the bolsters, but it is interesting. I may pick one up just out of curiosity. - Ed

Yes, Ed, the sabre grinds look like Buck, plus the sheepfoot on the opposite end is also Buck-like. An interesting knife.
But, not being a fan of square bolsters, at least I'm not tempted . . . this time!

but the bolsters ruin it for me.. too fancy for a working stockman IMHO
with plain bolsters i'd definitely give it a try, but i like the gerbers i have so i'm a bit of a gerber apologist:)
Ive seen these up close at bass pro but i havent handled one yet... nice to see them offering a traditional pocket knife:thumbup:
