So I e-mailed Gerber about getting some replacement hardware for this lopper. They are sending out a new one, which is great, but I would still like to sharpen this thing up and repair it. I was thinking of picking up a Lansky Puck for the sharpening. Thoughts?
I'd just use some sand paper wrapped around a cylinder or block. If you can take it apart, it may make it easier to sharpen. Let us know how things turn out.
