Who has a Gerber LST 2.0? I picked one up tonight and it seems to be pretty solid. Looks nice and shouldn't scare my grandma to bad.:D So if you have any information it would be much appreciated.

I'm not familiar with that LST, but I do have an L.S.T. Jr. which is one of my "city" knives.
It's surprisingly well made; tight lockup and very sharp out of the box. Feels pretty solid for such an inexpensive knife.
420HC blade with a Zytel handle. Lockback design.
Made in Portland, Oregon.

I think the OP is taking about the STL 2.0. From what I've seen its 440A not 440C. Plus, I was under the impression that Gerber discontinued the LST line?

It is stated to be 440A on this site:

http://www.defenseknife.com/41122.html
Specifications
Blade Detail: Plain
Blade Length (inches): 2.13
Blade Material: 440A

AT that price I'd say it is China made, which makes the "440A" suspect.
The performance will be close to that of 440A, nowhere near that of 440C.

I only use this as a backup in situations my Spyderco Endura (not made in China, not 440 at all) may be considered "scary".
