Gerber LTR - Opinions?

I just came across a Gerber LTR at a local store (not the LST, for those of you who are acronym-challenged :)). It looks like a very cool, inexpensive, gents knife that might be perfect around an office environment. Plus it's not made out of plastic or one of its bastard cousin derivatives (all the "***tel" words you know). Do any of you have any experience with this knife and/or opinions? Thanks.

I looked at them at the SHOT show in Vegas and thought they felt great. Gerber has not said (To my knowledge.) what the blade steel is. Seemed like a winner but I have not seen it on very many sites. Where did ya see it and what price point was it?? (The ones I have seen have been around $40)

I saw them today at a local outdoors store and kind of liked them also. A nice litte knife that, like stated above, isn't made of plastic.

I think they were in the $45 range.

The place I saw the LTR was at our local Fred Meyer store - a sort of "everything and the kitchen sink" retailer. I think the price was $46, which also seems to be confirmed by your experiences. I have not been able to find any specifics about the blade steel, except that the Gerber website says it's "high carbon stainless steel". I did manage to find the LTR for $26 at wholesalehunter.com, so maybe I'll have to try one of these after all.

Thanks for the heads up at wholesalehunter! That is more the price point that I would have expected this knife to be when I saw it in Vegas . . . they are really slick!
