gerber magnum LST

Ive most recently been carrying a ka-bar U.S.M.C but i find to big when camping so ive been considering a yep you guessed it a gerber magnum LST.
just wonedering if these perform well and what is the durability like?

That was the knife that stayed in my bug-out kit during Desert Storm. Worked pretty good for me.

I think the ka-Bar is just about a perfect size camp knife. Its a workhorse. Have you considered the "short" Ka-bars?

Still the ka-bar, being a fixed blade, is a lot stronger.
