Gerber Mark II Limited Edition

Saw an ad in the newest Cabela's catalog. Gerber is bringing out 1500 of the 1966 version of the Mark II in CPM S30V. Knew a guy who bought one back in the early 70's and always wished I'd have gotten one back then. Cabela has them for $250 which is more than I'd care to pay. Anyone seen these new releases in person or know where to get one other than Cabela's?

E-Bay is a good place to start. They have been available for some time now and the prices have gone up as quantity diminishes. I have one and yes, they are well made. The sheath so, so. The packaging - cheapy.

If you really like the Mark II you won't be dissapointed

I believe I paid $179.00 for mine off the 'bay about 4 or 5 months ago. Razor sharp S30V steel, no serrations, cat's-tongue gray handle, in a wooden box made in China. It's very nice overall.
