Gerber mark ii question

Hello everyone I have a question about my Gerber Mark ii. I think I have it figured out but the handle color is throwing me off. I have had this knife for a long time and done a little research over the years. I believe it is a 1984-1985 manufactured???? I am trying to add pics but won’t let me. Sorry

SN# D3184S vertical sword emblem. 6 7/8” blade 8 teeth TPI. OD Green and Black handle with lanyard hole. Cordora (spelling) sheath.
