Could someone tell me how these knives stack up to real world use? Ar they made well ? Durable? keep an edge? etc..

The one I had was strong and it held an edge but the edge was very thick and that made slicing difficult. The thick edge along with the double edge design made it a very specific combat design. It was great but it was not an all around knife.

The MK II is a well respected fighter if symetrical double edges are your thing. Utility wise this probably isn't a good choice. The blades are also known to be somewhat brittle and prone to snapping off or breaking under hard impact.
