gerber meth fixed blade

Don't get the gerber Meth it comes with a case of rotten teeth and jail time!
 
I first thought the Meth would be a decent knife. At first I was very excited to use it, I could barely sleep. It was very inexpensive and would cut all day long. After 3-4 days I grew tired of it though.
 
Gerber 'Meth' hahaha. Yea I wouldn't buy the Myth, I have grown to hate Gerber and all of it's products. I've had dozens and dozens of their knives over the years, all were junk and made it to the garbage in no time. Most if not all of their knives are made overseas, and all of their mid range folders >$50 are garbage, the steel sucks, I couldn't whittle a stick for more than three minutes because the blade got butter knife dull. Gerber was ok a long time ago but now they are sell outs relying on celebrity endorsement and the little reputation that they have left. Never buying from them again unless I see that they start making better quality blades and people start posting about it.
I've even laid hands on their famous LMF II , I was convined to buy it because a lot of people on BF owned one, it has a good design but poor execution, edge did not hold like I expected it to, and putting an edge on it again was a hassle, I abandoned it in the middle of a forest without a second thought :thumbdn:
 
Gerber knives aren't what they were prior to Fiskars buying them out. Really don't know the "myth" model, but I feel sure it will cut stuff. My suggestion on a small fixed blade is the Spyderco Moran as a field knife when hunting large and small game.

I only have two Gerber knives. They are the Gerber Emerson Alliance and the 06 Auto. Probably the only decent knives that Gerber makes anymore.
 
Have some self respect don't buy Gerber Meth it's bad for you. First off it's a Gerber they haven't made anything good in a long time last I checked second it's Meth, enough said.

If you meant the Gerber "Myth" on the other hand just replace Meth with Myth and the same still holds true.
