Gerber Mini Covert FAST

I thiought I read somewhere that there was a problem with FAST knives opening in a pants pocket and injuring the owner.

I was thinking of getting this knife for edc; is there any danger I should be aware of?

I've carried the Mini Covert for over 3 years, never had a problem with it opening when it shouldn't.
Edit: Didn't catch the fast part the first time. Mine was the original manual.

i have the large gerber covert fast draw, and i have carried it a bit, and its never opened up in my pocket. it comes with a safety which locks up the knife in case you are worried about that. even if it did somehow open, the assisted opening isnt strong enough to just bust through your pocket and stick into your leg or anything like that.
