First I would like to say Hi, great forum lots of info.
I have a Gerber MK 1 with cordua sheath, I have had it since High School, I think it has spent the last 15 years or so in the bottom of my safe.
I have found myself in recent need of a boot knife for back up use, I have been looking at CRKT Sting I pulled out the old MK1 and I really like it, however, the sheath will not work for me.
Are there other options out there for this knife like custom kydex? I have looked around but haven't seen any info. Any other popular boot knifes out there you guys like? I like several of the Tops knives and the smaller cold steel tac is ok.
I m not really attached to the knife and my put the MK1 on ebay.
