Gerber mk II

In answer to question 1 - worth it for what? I think the blade steel is fine for a stainless - pretty tough, will hold an edge. Boker's A-F daggers are in 440c, Cold Steel has them in AUS8, Krupp 1.114 and 420J2. Also there are quite a few in Carbon Steels. It's not going to have much utility but as far as dagger's go its probably pretty good.

MSRP is grossly overpriced, IMO. Have to wait and see what actual retail prices will be.

I think 420HC is "fine" too, for a $30-$40 knife...

I think I've heard that the new Mark II is going to be US made, and doing a little poking around online most places seem to have it in the 70-80ish price point with an in-stock date of around the 30th of this month.

I'm still up in the air about this one. It really has no utility other than being a fighting knife (which is perfectly fine as that is what it is designed to be). I've been wanting a new dagger for quite some time. I've been up in the air on this one. I'm not a huge fan of the double serrations, but I still might pick one up;)

1. It's worth it in my opinion. We have been waiting for this knife to be reissued for years. It's USA made and I have seen them for $99 on AG Russels site
I hope they remake the wasp blade

2. Check ebay for a mint Mark I, and expect to over pay for it.
