Gerber Mk2? in store case

Saw a Gerber Mk 2? (6/7" blade, wasp-waisted, serrated on both sides, black handle, blade and handle in line rather than the earlies canted angle ) in a store for $96-98 but unsure if it had sheathe. Looked unused.

This surprized me as I thought they'd been discontinued. Or maybe they've made a special run? If it's left over stock, should I run back and pick it up at that price?

a gerber mark 2 i presume - yes they are discontinued, the ones i have seen for sale, the price depends on the condition and age, the newer ones arent worth as much,vietnam era ones are worth something, but if the knife is new, and has a sheath, imho it would be worth at least $100 - as far as i know, all, even presentation mods, came w/a sheath - if ya want one, get it - i have a '68 model i bought new in '69, have used the hell outta it, paid about $40, certainly got my $$ worth.......
