Gerber multi-lite

I was looking through some of you guys pics over here and came across a gerber multi-lite. Really liked it and got lucky and came across a pretty much unused one for around $10. Seemed fair to me. Anyway question, can the battery for the led be replaced as mine seems week? and in one of you guys photos I believe markwood, his had a jigsaw set up in it. was that an option or a custom job? cause I want a jig saw too!!! thanks guys.- Joel

Changing the battery probably won't help. The Multi-Lite LED is very weak. To get to the light engine just pull off the rubber activation book.

That will be me with the jigsaw blade. It's a standard Gerber thing - there are a few different models of the multi-lite. I've one with the saw coupler and another with a serrated blade and awl instead. The other nice thing is that the philips driver takes the gerber bit adaptor.
