I personally love and use Gerber tools and knives; especially the older knives they made long ago, before Fiscars. Over the years, I have owned something from almost all their entire product lines. I was very disappointed with the Gerber Nautilus Tool with Dual LED Lights. It definitely looks cool, and having a light on a tool is nice idea, but here are my issues:

1. The lights are awful. The light end either comes on by itself and/or even pops out in your pocket. Mine as done this so many times it has already killed my batteries with only a few minutes of actual use.
2. The scissors are very poor compared to an even smaller product such as a leatherman Micra.
3. Because of the cool looking curve of the tool, using any of the screw drivers is awkward and requires excessive repositioning of the tool.

I would NOT recommend this tool; save your money for a better tool by Gerber, Swiss Army, or Leatherman. Target seems to have the best price on the Gerber NT (even free shipping), so if you decide to get one anyways, consider those guys. Happy outdoors this summer with your family.

It's okay; I'll move this thread to the Multi-Tool forum for you. Welcome to Bladeforums!
