Gerber Presto 3.5 Spring Assisted Knife???

I would appreciate any info about and/or experience with this knife. Good, bad or indifferent. Please let me know.
 
If you don't know much about knives, get it, and never look at this site again.

But if not, get a Kershaw.
 
Gerber these days are very low quailty. I have three of their AOs only because I am a big collector of that style of knife, but they are the lowest quailty AOs in my collection....go for Kershaw, Buck, Sog
 
Defnitely skip the Gerber and get a Kershaw or Sog (don't have a buck knife)
Most of Gerber's stuff is now made in China...
In the presto's price range, I think you could get a Kershaw Leek or a Sog Flash.
 
Thanks one and all. I won't make the Gerber mistake. I have several Gerbers 35+ years old that I really like. It's a shame they have gone downhill (to China).
