Gerber prodigy-Under $50

Is the gerber prodigy a good multi purpose blade for under $50. If so why or why not and what are some other good reconsiderations for the price with a stainless blade.

That would be a question only you can answer.

For me, it is not. The two I have stored away in bags I bought in like new condition here off the exchange for $25 each. The SOG Seal Pup is a better knife and can be found for under $40.
