I am on a tight budget but I needed a decent EDC fixed blade so I picked up the Gerber Profile to give it a shot. I was disappointed to see that the nylon sheath only has one option for carry. I am looking for a good IWB or horizontal belt sheath for this knife. Anybody know where I could buy one?

I dont know of anywhere you can buy a kydex sheath for the Profile, but i can think of 3 options:
1. have a sheath made for you from one of the makers on this forum.
2. make one yourself.
3. if you dont wanna spend much check out the thread on making a poor mans kydex sheath out of things like laundry detergent jugs and the like. im getting ready to try to make one now :D

haha, when you get it finished post a picture and Ill do my best to replicate it. Im really leaning towards an Izula for EDC, but it will be a few weeks before I can afford one so Im going to see what I can do with the profile.

first of all - not a bad looking little knife. i just checked it out, looks handy.

ok, you probably really don't want to have a sheath made because it'll cost you as much as the knife did. so, it'll always feel kind of weird.

here's what i used to do when i was a little kid trying to conceal fixed blades with the stock sheath - stick the sheath IWB, strong side, with the edge forward. fold the loop over the top edge of your jeans so that it becomes a IWB loop. there's probably straps with snaps on 'em, right? these can either be cut off or wrapped around the back of the loop and snapped together.

not sure what your sheath is like, but most of the sheaths included with cheaper knives, this trick'll work on. it does mean you have to draw the knife in reverse grip or you have to practice a funky draw where you slide the back of your hand in between the knife and your body, thumb down.
