Gerber question

Hello! I am new here and had a question about a Gerber. I have a Gerber sheath for a boot knife and the dagger that came with it does not have any markings. Wondering if all Gerbers have markings of some kind? Serial # ect, or if any come without. TIA

All of the ones I’ve seen were stamped. Maybe post a picture of the knife.
