Gerber Recoil Auto-plier

hi,

I have read some reviews about the tool,but i still have some questions:

-does the plier had swobble/rattle when it is deployed(like the gerber 600series)?

- how are the tools locked, is it a sliding mechanism(like on the 600) or by pushing the lock down (like the leatherman crunch)

-how wide does the plier open from tip to tip?

I just got one about three days ago.
I've never handled a 600 series.
But I would not consider the head loose or rattle.

It is very firm in the extended position and does not rattle in either position.

Tools are locked via a spring loaded sliding lock mechanism.

Pliers open 7/8" from inside tip to inside tip.

As I said, I have just gotten it with little time to use it or put it through its paces. So I really haven't decided what I think of it yet.
