Gerber remix

Hey guys

Someone gave me a Gerber "remix" knife, it's a neat design and feels comfortable but the lock is so damn stiff, it's a cheap chinese made knife but I would like to use it, anyone know how to de-stiffen the lock?

Try some lubricant such as mineral oil where the parts move. Then cycle the thing from opened to closed a few dozen times.

I tossed in some machine oil all over the moving parts and worked it for about a half hour last night, the problem seems to be with the mechanism itself rather than lubrication.

i own this knife it all smoothens out with hard use and i little bit of lubricant
