Anyone have one of these? I did a search and didn't find squat. These didn't make much of a splash when they came out, and I think they are already discontinued, but I've seen them on sale for cheap. I know Gerber hasn't been the best lately, but I have an old FSII I bought way back in 1980 that served me well until I used it as a pry bar and broke the blade. I sent it back to Gerber and they sent me a new one for free!

No real reason to buy it, if I don't like it it will end up as someone's Christmas or birthday present (that's how I rationalize all my knife buys:) ).

I was given one, but am not happy, the design seems to have a flaw as the blade touches on one of the internal handle supports and keeps getting damaged, sending it back to the agent to see what they are going to do about it

Gerber made great knives until the mid 80,s I believe. I might be wrong on this but, we got someone here that knows for sure! I think their Seki Japan knives were good quality!

Go to "google" and type in "Gerber Revolt"...You'll find all kinds of pictures & info.:).

Bruise,
I haven't seen the Gerber "Revolt" but I have a Gerber "Harsey Air Ranger" that I use as my "at work" EDC and I love it.

Yeah, these days Gerber Revolt sounds a bit redundant!

One thing I really hate about most Gerbers is that too much of the blades are serrated. I recently tried to open a sealed plastic bag and the plain part of the knife cut fine, but the serrated part bunched the plastic up and tore the bag, ripping some of the shipping papers. The knife was an EZ-Out.

I personally like some of their knives, but the crapola steel they use for blades has kept me from buying any more of them.

LOL! I'm sure there are plenty of pictures of the other kind of Gerbert Revolt: :barf:

I had the same experience using a Mini-Covert. But to it's defense, the serrations did cut my thumb when I was thumbing it open and my thumb slipped onto the blade.
