Gerber Ridge Knife ???

Hey Guys....

Has anyone seen the new/not so new Gerber Ridge Knife ??

It's like a CRKT KISS but much larger....

Whatcha think ??

i wouldn't trust them. i saw a small version of gerber's take on the KISS and wasn't that impressed. that kind of knife takes a lot of accuracy in detail, which i'm not sure gerber has. Also, the design might not be able to withhold the stresses involved in a knife that large.

I remember seeing these little knives before Gerber decided to market them under their logo. They're being exported by a company called Kantas in Asia and they're called the Survivor "CUTE."

Yaaaa I remember seeing those...

As far as the Gerber being reliable...

They seem really well made,, I really haven't experienced any serious failure with any Gerbers yet..

Lets remember that these aren't made to do heavy duty...
A little back up tucked away somewhere safe would be kind of handy to have around...
