Zach,
I have the Gerber Ridge (actually I have 2, one plain edge, one with a combo edge). Overall its a good little knife to have around for small tasks; opening mail, boxes etc. I keep mine on my key ring.

I have one also. I got it for the uniquness appeal and i feel it is a little too small. It is a good little cutter but it is too small for my hands. It locks up tight and is very well made but the black finish is not as tough as I had hoped and it doesnt take much to scratch the black paint that covers it. cool knife though

I think i might be more inclined to go with a KISS model.

I'm just looking for a knife for the nail pocket... :D

Backup to the leatherman... quick access to a blade

My dad has one and seems to like it a lot.
When he first got it, it didn't always lock up all the way. The blade would reach the detent and stop -- and it would feel "locked" (if you didn't push too hard!)
It sounds like that's gotten better with use.

Wow... it fix's it self... Can it sharpen its self too

Looks like i'm going to have to pick one up

Thanks

Zach
