gerber sespension ?

i don't like it much, personally. i bought one last year, and promplty returned it. i found the tools difficult to open and close, and when closed the tool was very bulky.

I think it is a good value for the price. I paid $27 for mine at Target. It is functional and gets the job done. The tools lock up well. I'm not wild about the knife blade, but it serves as a back up for jobs I don't want to use my cary knife on. I carried the tool through Army OCS, BOLC II and OBC. Each of these schools involved several weeks in the field. The plier heads did develop some rust spots and pitting when exposed to the elements out in the field. It cleaned up ok and some CLP on the tool took care of the problem. I prefer my SOG Powerlock for daily carry but grab the Gerber when I'm going to schools where things have a higher chance of walking off.
