Does anyone have any experience with this folder? Seems to have all the right stuff: ATS-34/154CM blade (titanium nitride coated), 6AL4V titanium liners, G10 scales, and (I presume) liner lock.

Sorry Ed. I have no experience with this knife but agree it seems like a nice design using good materials. Because I was interested in this knife too, I posted a question about Gerber's general quality last week. If you are interested in the replies, you might so a search.

Thanks Willie, I read the Gerber thread with interest. Gerber does have a good reputation (or did), but Gerber products other than their multi-tools don't seem to be readily available around Edmonton. The Spectre looks like a good design (imitation being the most sincere form of flattery;) ) but I've not seen one personally.

Saying honestly I didn’t found any exciting points at this design but it is really nothing wrong with this knife. Fits my hand comfortably and securely. Good materials. Pretty lightweight, compact size, just right for daily carry, practically unnoticeable in the pocket.
Interesting bent pocket clip construction – there is very few of handle visible over pocket edge.
Blade coating is black titanium nitride, pretty hard. I have tried to scratch it, it is hardly possible with soft steel wire.
Comes in nice black box with red velvet-like insert, looks more like gift box than like average package.

My first one marked as First Production Run had some quality issue – it practically didn’t hold the blade in closed position, the lightest movement was enough to flip it open.
I have contacted GERBER Polish office and they replaced my knife with no costs even for shipping, simply bringing it to my home. I was surprised quite pleasantly.
New one does not have any quality issue, locks up reliably and holds closed position equally good.
Very decent knife, probably greatly underrated...
