A couple questions regarding Gerbers. I have a stainless Gerber Mk I and a Guardian from the early 80's and I was wondering what stainless Gerber used in the early 80's. Same question regarding a carbon Mk II from the 70's and a Mk I from '81; I have no idea what steel Gerber was using in their blades.
Doing a search turned up 440A for the stainless and L-6 for the carbon blades. 440A seems right for the stainless, but what was the latest Gerber used L-6 in the carbon Mk II? Was L-6 used in the Mk I? TIA.
