Hey everyone :)

Im on a vacation in a little harbor city here in Denmark. There is a little hunting store downtown. Yesterday i went there just to check it out, but......they had a knife on sale. The Gerber Stockman.
Its a 3 bladed slipjoint. The main blade actually locks in place (wich is kinda wierd when its a slipjoint), but the other two blades dont. The main blade has a clip blade design and almost a mirror polish. The second blade is a ''sheep foot'' blade, and maybe my favorite of the three. ITS VERYYY SHARP, i was doing the nail test and i almost cut through my nail. The last one is a spey blade, i havent got to test this knife yet, but i would imagine that the spey blade is awesome for cutting open fish.

Slip joints gotta look good...And this one sure does. The handles are made of genuine stag, and the fit is perfect. There is no gab between the handles and the bolsters. The bolsters is also very pretty too. They have a laser engravings on them. Its a work of art.

Its is my first slipjoint, and i know that its not gonna be the last. Slipjoints are amazing.

Hope you liked my review :-)

How do the backsprings work? Can you give us a shot of the back of the knife?

Hard to see from this photo but it looks like the lock back whittler mechanism, a lock back spring to the main blade and two non locking to the small blades.
