Title says a lot.

I love my Gerber Suspension, but the sheath is terrible. It is falling apart. I had to wear it sideways (scout style) as the loop for vertical wear was broken, then I dropped it because the velcro is done. Fortunately somebody saw it drop.

Who makes an aftermarket sheath? The model is not as popular as some other multitools so it is quite hard to find. I would prefer leather with a snap. I work in a mining environment (muddy, dirty).

I say make your own if you have the time and will to learn 👍 also when you say wear it sideways do you mean horizontally?

I agree the suspension is a great tool but the sheath is pants. I recommend the leatherman wave sheath. It fits the tool nicely and is fairly sturdy . but don't get the leather one, the cordura one fits the best.

You may want to check out the nite ize tool holster stretch. Its made out of cordura. Also its very affordable ranging on average about $10. I use nite ize's flashlight holster, its awesome, and it spins 360 degrees.

Heres a pic of google: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTUwMFgxNTAw/z/LGYAAOSw7NNUFwQV/$_35.JPG

*I just used the image because it shows a multi-tool in it.

Quick update:

I ended up ordering a nite ize. It was fairly cheap and looked solid.

I have to say it is quite bulky. I would probably not use this as an EDC rig. But considering it is for work, in a mine, where I already have a bunch of gear, it doesn't bug me as it would with my "normal" clothes.

Thanks for the advice.
