Hello!
Does anyone have any inside knowledge on the steel(s)/metal(s) used for the Gerber Suspension? I've seen just "stainless steel" listed on most sites, though I've seen an "aluminum" claim for the handles.
I called Gerber, and the guy who answered didn't really know. He guessed "420." Is that 420, 420J2, or 420HC? Or something else altogether?
I'm mystified that a company wouldn't readily disclose (have available) such details unless there's some obfuscatory intent.
Thanks!
