I just picked up this new multi from Gerber and figured I'd write a brief description for those interested. Since I take a rather "middle of the road" stand regarding Gerber knives and tools, I'm fairly confident I can give an objective report.
The Suspension reminds me of the Legend 800 but in a smaller version.Needle nose pliers are spring loaded with built in wire cutters (not removable). Eight implements and a lanyard attachment are housed in the handles and are deployed when the handles are closed. Implements are: Scissors, small regular screwdriver, bottle opener, serrated blade, regular blade, medium driver, phillips driver, and saw.
All implements lock and are released with a slide lock on the bottom of each handle. My overall impression is that this is a very rugged tool for the size and for $30.00 would be an ideal addition to a glove compartment, tackle box, etc. For me, it's a great addition to my multi-tool collection.;)

I've got a suspension too, and while I don't like Gerber as a company (they've stolen designs blatantly), there's no denying that it's a great little multi tool. The serrated blade (rouned serations as opposed to pointy ones) is one of the most useful blades I've used on a multi tool.

I thought that the lanyard hole was a wire bender :o .

the same tool is sold at walmart with the winchester logo for $13 with circles drilled into it rather than the skeleton design. multi tools don't measure up to real pliers so as long as you don't need real pliers, this should do quite well.

Hi. im new here. quick question... do u have to use ur nail to pull out each little tool out of the main handle? basically what i want to know is, how hard is it to pull things out? thanks.

Hi Cyrusthevirus, welcome to BFC! The implements are a little tricky to deploy the first time around. Most have a nail slot at the bottom of the implement, or use a thumb stud on the side. The saw has a nail slot at the top, and the scissors towards the top. If you don't have fingernails, you my need another tool to open them.:D
