I have a slim (Slimline?), plain stainless Gerber Touche belt buckle knife (fits a 1" belt) which I listed on eBay, but eBay removed the listing because it was a "disguised" weapon. It was up less than one day and I got only one bid on it. The bidder has e-mailed me and wants to know if I'm still interested in selling it and for how much. I have no idea what is a fair price. I started the bidding at 9.99, assuming it would go up. I know the scrimshawed ones fetch pretty high prices on occasion, but you don't see the plain ones too often. It's in really excellent shape and has never been used or even worn. Some surface scratches from storage. I don't have the box or paperwork. Any help in determining a fair price would be appreciated.

Thanks all.

Those used to come up regularly in The Cutting Edge. I seem to recall a price range - but I'm not certain. Wildly guessing, based on the condition on your's (missing the original packaging, slight storage markings, never used or sharpened), I'd say $50 or so. If it were NIB, I'd say more like $100.

I could be way off though.

Thanks for the input, Bob. I was thinking around $40-50 too. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't too high.
