I am trying to find out what gerber fixed blade I have so I can find or have a new sheath made. It was purchased new last year and it is one piece with thick rubber handles screwed on both sides, it is not a gater or a freeman and I can't find it anywhere on the net. Also it comes with a cheesy flimsy sheath and I misplaced the box.

I think what you have is a gerber 4in profile fixed blade. Yes that's the whole name. I have two one of which I bought and the other was given to me. I think it is quite possibly one of the ugliest knives I have ever seen but that being said for a self defense blade it's great as it's easy to sharpen, feels good in the hand either in hammer or reversed, is spongy yet grippy, is so cheap you can buy one for your dummy practice and have another for actual carry, you can ditch it if need be and get another replacement easily, and is small enough to be concealed after you get rid of the crappy triangle shaped sheath.
I have a custom a BM folder and yet this crappy little pos is still a favorite for me. It's so ugly to me that I have come to really love it.:D

Sorry for the bump but does anyone know what it would cost to have a sheath made for this knife?
