The Gerber Urban Legend (Model 700) is a smaller version of their Legend (Model 800). I have just had mine for a few days and I thought others might be interested in some feedback.

Detail of features and dimensions may be found at Gerber's site:

I've attached a picture from Gerber's site here as well. One of the chief complaints I heard on the forums about the 800 was its bulk, the 700 addresses this issue partially. The aluminum handles are thicker than the stainless of competing tools but I appreciate their ergonomics. Some of the tools (e.g. the smallest screwdriver) are difficult to get out without opening other tools first. The spring loaded pliers are a delight to use. I'll post more after more use. Cheers! -Alan

Sorry to bring back such an old topic, but I am curious to know a little more about the 700. I love my Wave, but am finding it just too big to tote around in my pocket - I was looking at smaller options and my micra just isn't doing the trick. I've wound up deciding between a juice (s2, cs4) or the gerber 700. How does it compare to a wave? Is the size pretty close or noticably smaller? Pocketability?

Thanks for any further help.
