Hi, this is my first post on this forum. Has anyone had any experience with the Gerber Prodigy Combat Survival knife? I'm trying to get some help on deciding which knife to buy. The knife needs to be made in the USA and would be used primarly for survival type situations. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Both the Prodigy and the LMF II would be VERY good knife selections. I have one Prodigy and two LMF II's.

What about the vintage Gerber BMF or LMF still can be had at reasonable prices on ebay and they are great knives.

It’s a good knife, I got one on sale and used it in a trade with a buddy a while back.
