Gereber SLG @ AR 300

I've had a few gerber folders and although I was happy with the quality, they just didn't end up in my pocket that much. I recently bought these two and I am impressed. The AR 300 has an amazingly smooth action, and it feels very comfotable in the hand. The SLG is extremely low profile and the G-10 gives you a firm grip. Both have excellent liner lockup, and the knives are fitted tightly. Like CRKT you can't go wrong with either of the knives especially for the price. Anyone else feel that Gerber is putting out some excellent folding knives.

I just picked up a AR300 this weekend for $35 and am very pleased with the quality. Fit and finish are good, the lock-up is solid (passed my spine whack test), Black-T blade, the deep-pocket carry clip is great also. I'm happy enough with it that a SLG is on my "to get" list now.

I believe they are a little late getting these kinds of knives to market, but better late than never.
