German and french knife laws

I am traveling to Germany(in the munich area) and france nex week and i was wondering what the knife laws in those countries are. I found that germany prohibited the usual daggers, gravity knives, and switchblades, but i could not find out about france but chances are i will just be carrying my Leatherman and SAK. If you know anything more about these country's laws that will be great, thanks.
