Is anyone familiar with the German Bull brand? I see them all over the Net, but I don't think there is any manufacturer by that name. I was wondering who actually makes them, and where, etc.

Schmidt & Ziegler use a bull for a logo and I've seen them called Germen Bull knives.
My first new knife was a Schmidt - Ziegler barlow.

I've also seen them called El Toro knives, especially the stockman pattern. They are / were made in Solingen.

I bought a new sodbuster pattern German Bull knife recently at the local first monday trade-day. The Stag scales on the knife are gorgeous - the fit and finish is good but it does have a little bit of blade play - the (stainless) blade takes a good edge but doesn't hold it's particularly well (as expected). The GB I have certainly isn't on a par with Queen's or Schatt & Morgan's but for 30 bucks it's not a bad little knife.
