I know the blades on the "German Bull" Lock back knives are made in Germany, but is the entire knife made in Germany or are the blades sent to China for final assembly? Cutlery Corner.net, and sellers on E-bay, advertise these knives as "Hand Made In Germany". But what does that really mean? :o

From what I gather, they are made entirely in Solingen, Germany. Here's an interesting link I dug up:

That's a nice reference. Thanks for posting that.

I saw this post yesterday, and was inclined to say they are made entirely in Germany. I have a German Bull Folding Hunter (2 blades; non-locking). I seem to recall seeing another post or reference recently, regarding the maker of the German Bull knives, and I think your link confirms what I'd seen (made by Olbertz, in Solingen). I also have a Buck Creek stockman (also by Olbertz), and there are a lot of similarities between these two brands, aesthetically. They're also built quite 'beefy', with relatively thick blades and handle scales. They seem like good, solid users to me.

Thank you guys for the help!!!!! Much appreciated. I like to purchase my knife collection that is either made in U.S., Germany or Japan. :p
