I'm looking at a couple of German bull knives, but i have a couple of questions. First, I heard these are made in china, but stamped made in Germany or made in Solingen. Second of all, how is the fit and finish on these? The two models I was looking at in particular are the doctors knife and the little leopard.

German Eye Brand is made in Germany. I am not sure about German Bull.

According to the World Knives web site......

German Bull
German Bull knives are hand-made in Germany

Based on my research - All Models of German Bull knives are made by Friedrich Olbertz - Solingen Germany. The Brand is Owned & Imported by FROST Cutlery.

I bought a German Bull clip point skinner with Buffalo horn scale. Very good Fit and Finish and made in Germany. Very nice knife but it was new older production. I made a gift of it to a favorite Great Uncle.

My GB Stag Sodbuster says "German Stainless" and the box states "hand made Germany" nothing about China anywhere...
