German Chopper?

I am thinking this is a P.L. Schmidt chopper, Elberfeld Germany because of the symbol? However, the mark is a little different from known Schmidt choppers.

No help at all, but I thank you for posting it. Looks like something that could be passed down to great grandchildren. Or used as an anti-tank weapon.

The symbol under the "8" on the first picture seems to be a very fancy drawknife.

Looking at the mark, it does seem to be a drawknife! Anyways, it seems to be well made.

It looks very well made. Is it something you're interested in selling?
One needs to not run afoul of the mods, when discussing selling things outside the For Sale forum. I'm just asking about intentions, not price.
