German Equivalent to Buck 110?

Hey all,

I'm living in Germany for the remainder of the year, and I am very very uneducated about German knife manufacturers, though I have no doubt they rival the quality of stuff made in my home country, the good old USA.... I brought my buck 110 and buck 55 with me, as well as a SAK.

Now I was wondering if they made something like the buck 110, here in Germany. I have heard that The Buck 110 is a must have in an American's knife collection... What would be a "must have" in a a German person's collection?

Thanks guys! looking forward to your answers :)

Most of the Bokers made in Solingen, Germany are very nice and have good quality. Here's the the Boker Rosewood Classic Pocket Knife:

I'd say go to some knife shops in Germany and see what tickles your fancy. When I was there I visited a couple of good knife shops. I'm sure now the big sporting goods stores there have good selections. I also recommend buying a German-made knife.

My vote goes toward a PUMA...none of the particular models are classics like the 110 but, much there are plenty of models in the same price range that look very similar to a 110. In my book PUMA is Germany's BUCK...

I would look for something not made any longer. I had a friend send a picture of this knife to a relative in Germany many years ago. They took the picture to a knife shop in Rotenberg and he returned from the basement with this made by Hen & Rooster. #107 Vest pocket Skinner.

Another about the size of the Buck is the Puma #970 Game Warden w/Jacaranda wood scales.

Any Hen & Rooster made in Germany would be worth a look.

There is Reinhard Muller with his MSP back lock knife, has S90V steel, check them out excellent knives.

Hartkopf makes some nice looking 110-style knives. They are hard to find here in the US but seem to be very common there in Germany.

I have an old Puma folder my dad picked up at an auction, its a beautiful little knife, about the size of a buck 112, id recommend one if you don't go all out on something super nice

These are the same size as the Buck 112. The stag will be cheaper than a Buck with stag.

Hey, do yo know the model # of the one on the bottom?? thanks!
It's a Sargent like RamZar noted. The model is #265. This one is from the late 80's before they started etching the blade. Now they offer it a couple different ways. Google Puma #265 knife and check it out.
